TERMS OF USE

Last updated: March 2, 2026

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome to dota2leader.com (the “Website” or the “Platform”), an online platform that allows users to purchase virtual in-game cosmetic items (“skins”) for the game DOTA2.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the rules that apply when you access or use the Platform and govern the legal relationship between you (“User”, “you”) and the operator of the Platform, QUESTEE LTD (“Company”, “we”, “us”).

By visiting, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. These Terms also incorporate and should be read together with any additional policies referenced within them, including the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, which form part of this agreement.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. USER ELIGIBILITY AND PLATFORM CONDITIONS

2.1 Minimum Age Requirement

Access to dota2leader.com is strictly limited to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

By accessing the Platform, creating an account, adding funds, requesting withdrawals, or purchasing skins, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

We do not knowingly allow minors to use the Platform. If we reasonably believe that an account has been registered or operated by a person under 18, we may immediately restrict access, suspend or permanently close the account, and take any additional measures required under applicable law or our internal compliance procedures.

2.2 Legal Capacity and Authority

By using dota2leader.com, you confirm that you have the legal ability to enter into binding agreements under the laws that apply to you. This includes the ability to accept these Terms, complete payments, and comply with the obligations described in this document.

If you access or use the Platform on behalf of another individual or organisation (which is not the intended standard consumer use), you confirm that you have proper authority to bind that person or organisation to these Terms. We may request verification of such authority where appropriate.

2.3 Contract Formation and Governing Law

These Terms become legally binding once you access the Platform, sign in via Steam, create an account, or complete a transaction on dota2leader.com.

Your continued use of the Platform confirms your ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. However, if you are a consumer residing outside England and Wales, you will continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under UK consumer protection legislation.

2.4 Permitted Use – Personal Use Only

dota2leader.com is provided solely for personal and private use.

You may use the Platform to browse, purchase, and receive DOTA2 skins for your own in-game use. Commercial use of the Platform is not permitted.

In particular, you must not:

  • operate as a reseller or intermediary through the Platform;
  • use automated tools, bots, scripts, or bulk-purchasing mechanisms;
  • attempt to manipulate pricing, stock availability, or delivery systems;
  • engage in organised trading or business activity using the Platform.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that demonstrate activity inconsistent with normal consumer behaviour, particularly where such activity creates operational, fraud, regulatory, or compliance risks.

3. USER ACCOUNTS AND STEAM AUTHENTICATION

3.1 Access Through Steam

Access to dota2leader.com is available exclusively via a valid Steam account. The Platform does not offer separate username/password registration.

By logging in through Steam, you agree to use Steam’s authentication system to verify your identity and enable access to your user account. Your ability to use the Platform depends on maintaining an active and compliant Steam account. If your Steam account is suspended, restricted, or otherwise unavailable, access to the Platform may also be limited.

3.2 Account Setup and Profile Information

Once you successfully authenticate through Steam:

  • a personal user account (“Account”) is automatically generated on dota2leader.com;
  • certain publicly available Steam profile details (such as your Steam ID, profile name, avatar, and other non-private identifiers) may be imported to facilitate functionality and delivery of digital items;
  • you must provide a valid and accessible email address for essential communications.

This email address will be used for transaction confirmations, security notifications, account-related updates, and customer support correspondence. You are responsible for keeping your contact details accurate and up to date.

3.3 No Registration Fees

Creating and maintaining an Account on dota2leader.com does not require any registration or subscription fee.

However, purchasing skins or adding funds to your account will require payment in accordance with the pricing displayed on the Platform and these Terms.

3.4 Single Account Policy

Each user is permitted to operate one Account only.

The creation or use of multiple accounts, whether directly or indirectly, is not allowed. We may take reasonable steps to detect linked accounts, including by reviewing shared Steam credentials, email addresses, IP data, device identifiers, payment methods, or behavioural patterns.

Where duplicate or connected accounts are identified, we reserve the right to restrict, merge, suspend, or permanently close such accounts.

3.5 Accuracy and Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that all information associated with your Account remains accurate and complete.

You are also responsible for safeguarding access to:

  • your Steam account;
  • your registered email address;
  • any devices used to access the Platform.

You must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your Account.

3.6 Personal Use Only – No Transfers

Your Account is personal to you and may not be transferred, assigned, sold, shared, or otherwise made available to any third party.

You must not permit another individual to access or operate your Account. Any activity conducted through your Account will be treated as having been carried out by you.

3.7 Unauthorised Access and Liability

We are not responsible for losses or unauthorised transactions resulting from:

  • failure to secure your Steam credentials or email account;
  • compromised devices under your control;
  • sharing of login access with third parties;
  • breaches of these Terms on your part.

If you suspect unauthorised access or any security issue affecting your Account, you must notify us immediately at [email protected].

We may take appropriate protective measures, including temporary suspension of the Account, to safeguard the Platform and its users.

4. ACCOUNT PROTECTION AND PLATFORM SAFEGUARDS

4.1 User Responsibility for Account Use

You are fully responsible for all activity carried out through your Account on dota2leader.com.

Any purchases, balance deposits, withdrawal requests, confirmations, or other actions made using your Account credentials will be treated as authorised by you, regardless of whether they were carried out personally or by someone who gained access to your Account.

The Platform operates based on account-level authentication. While we implement security measures, we cannot independently verify the identity of the individual using your login credentials in every instance.

4.2 Duty to Notify of Security Concerns

You must contact us immediately at [email protected] if you:

  • believe your Account or Steam account has been accessed without authorisation;
  • detect any unusual or unexplained transactions or activity;
  • suspect that your login credentials, email account, or devices have been compromised.

Prompt notification allows us to take protective action. Delays in reporting may limit our ability to prevent further activity and may affect available remedies, including account recovery or transaction review.

4.3 Platform Intervention and Account Controls

To protect users and maintain the integrity of the Platform, we reserve the right to impose restrictions on an Account where reasonably necessary.

Such measures may be taken where:

  • suspicious, irregular, or potentially fraudulent activity is detected;
  • unusual purchasing behaviour or elevated chargeback risk is identified;
  • required compliance or verification information has not been provided or cannot be validated;
  • there is evidence of misuse of the Platform or breach of these Terms;
  • applicable laws or regulatory obligations require us to act.

Restrictions may include temporary limitations on purchases, deposits, withdrawals, or full suspension of the Account.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, we will inform you of the restriction and provide guidance on steps required to resolve the matter.

Nothing in this section limits or removes any statutory rights available to you under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

5. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND PLATFORM MODEL

5.1 Direct Sales Model

dota2leader.com provides users with the ability to purchase virtual in-game cosmetic items (“skins”) directly from the Platform.

All items displayed on the Platform are offered either by the Company itself or by authorised suppliers operating under agreement with the Company. When completing a purchase, you are contracting directly with the Platform.

Users do not enter into contracts with other users when purchasing skins.

5.2 No User Listings or Resale Functionality

The Platform does not allow users to upload, advertise, list, sell, exchange, or otherwise offer their own skins for sale.

There is no functionality enabling users to monetise personal in-game items, act as sellers, or transfer items to other users for consideration.

This direct-sale structure forms a fundamental part of the Platform’s operating framework.

5.3 No Peer-to-Peer Transactions

dota2leader.com does not operate a peer-to-peer system and does not facilitate transactions between users.

All purchases are completed exclusively between the user and the Platform. The Company determines product availability, pricing, and delivery conditions in accordance with these Terms.

5.4 Item Supply and Delivery

Skins available on the Platform are:

  • owned, licensed, or otherwise sourced by the Company from authorised partners; and
  • delivered through standard Steam mechanisms in a lawful and compliant manner.

We reserve the right to update, remove, replace, or modify available items at any time for operational, commercial, security, or regulatory reasons.

5.5 Nature and Limitations of Services

For clarity, dota2leader.com:

  • is not an exchange, trading venue, auction service, or brokerage platform;
  • does not provide peer-based trading or investment functionality;
  • does not facilitate gambling, betting, prize draws, or games of chance;
  • does not offer financial or speculative services.

All skins are offered solely as digital cosmetic items intended for personal entertainment use within the Counter-Strike 2 game environment.

6. DIGITAL ITEMS AND USER RIGHTS

6.1 Nature of In-Game Cosmetic Items

The skins available on dota2leader.com are virtual cosmetic items intended for use within DOTA2. These items affect only the visual appearance of in-game elements and do not modify gameplay mechanics, competitive balance, or core functionality.

All intellectual property rights in and to the skins remain with the relevant rights holders, including the game publisher and its licensors. Purchasing a skin through the Platform does not grant you any ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

6.2 Limited Right of Use

When you purchase a skin via dota2leader.com, you obtain a limited right to use that item within the DOTA2 environment.

This right is:

  • personal to you;
  • non-exclusive;
  • non-transferable;
  • granted for private, non-commercial use only.

Your use of skins is subject to:

  • the applicable terms and policies of Steam and the game publisher;
  • these Terms of Use ;
  • any technical or operational limitations imposed by third-party providers.

This licence may be restricted or withdrawn if required by law, by the game publisher, or where you breach these Terms.

6.3 No Property or Resale Rights

The purchase of a skin constitutes the acquisition of digital content access rights and does not represent a transfer of property in the traditional legal sense.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • skins exist solely in digital form within the game ecosystem;
  • they do not carry inherent monetary value outside the DOTA2 environment;
  • they may be altered, restricted, discontinued, or removed by the game publisher at its discretion.

The Platform does not guarantee the continued availability or future status of any skin within the game.

6.4 Relationship with Valve and Steam

dota2leader.com operates independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or its affiliated entities.

Steam is a third-party service used for authentication and delivery of digital items. Continued access to skins depends on the operational policies, infrastructure, and terms of Steam and the game publisher.

The Company is not responsible for decisions or actions taken by Valve or Steam that may affect the availability, functionality, or usability of skins after they have been delivered.

7. ORDERING AND DELIVERY OF DIGITAL ITEMS

7.1 How a Purchase Is Made

In order to purchase a skin on dota2leader.com, you must first be logged into your personal Account created through Steam authentication. Access to purchasing functionality is not available without an active and properly authenticated Account.

Once logged in, you may browse the skins currently available on the Platform. Each item page contains relevant information, including a description of the skin, its price, and any applicable conditions or limitations. It is your responsibility to review this information carefully before proceeding.

When you decide to purchase a skin, you must follow the checkout process and confirm your intention to proceed. Before final confirmation, you will be presented with an order summary displaying the selected item and the total price. This step is provided to allow you to verify the accuracy of your order and avoid unintended purchases.

By confirming the order, you submit a binding request to purchase the selected digital item in accordance with these Terms.

7.2 Payment Methods and Use of Account Balance

Payment for skins may be completed using one of the payment methods supported and displayed at checkout. These methods may vary depending on your location and technical availability.

Alternatively, if you have previously added funds to your internal Platform balance, you may use those available funds to complete your purchase.

Where the balance available in your Account is insufficient to cover the full price of the selected skin, you will be required to add additional funds before the transaction can be finalised. A purchase cannot be completed unless the full payment amount has been successfully authorised.

All payments are subject to successful processing and verification. The Company reserves the right to decline or delay transactions where payment authorisation fails or where security checks require further review.

7.3 Confirmation of Payment and Initiation of Delivery

Once your payment has been successfully authorised and confirmed, the transaction will be recorded within your Account history.

Following confirmation, the Platform will initiate the delivery process. This includes generating a Steam trade offer containing the purchased skin and sending that trade offer to the Steam account linked to your Platform Account.

You acknowledge that the timing of this process may vary depending on technical factors, including but not limited to Steam system availability, network performance, automated security checks, and operational processing times.

The Company does not guarantee immediate trade delivery, although reasonable efforts will be made to complete the process without unnecessary delay.

7.4 Acceptance of Trade Offer and Completion of Delivery

In order to receive the purchased skin, you must log into your Steam account and manually accept the trade offer sent by the Platform.

Delivery is deemed complete at the moment when:

  • you accept the Steam trade offer; and
  • the skin is successfully transferred to and visible within your Steam inventory.

Once delivery is completed in this manner, the transaction is considered fulfilled by the Company.

If you fail to accept the trade offer within the applicable timeframe imposed by Steam or the Platform, the delivery may expire or require reprocessing. In such cases, you may need to contact customer support for assistance.

7.5 User Responsibilities During the Delivery Process

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your Steam account remains eligible to receive trade offers. This includes ensuring that:

  • your Steam account is active and not subject to suspension, trade bans, or restrictions;
  • your inventory privacy settings allow incoming trade offers;
  • Steam Guard and any other required security features are properly configured and active;
  • your trade URL and account configuration are accurate.

The Company is not responsible for delivery failures, delays, or rejected trade offers resulting from account restrictions, security settings, configuration errors, or enforcement actions taken by Steam or the game publisher.

If delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances attributable to your Steam account status or configuration, the Company may require corrective action before attempting redelivery.

8. ACCOUNT BALANCE, FUNDING AND WITHDRAWALS

8.1 Optional Account Funding

Users of dota2leader.com may choose to add funds to an internal account balance maintained within their personal Account. The use of this balance is entirely optional and is provided for convenience, allowing users to complete purchases more efficiently without entering payment details for each transaction.

Funding transactions are processed through authorised third-party payment service providers. The payment methods and supported currencies available for balance top-ups are displayed during the funding process and may vary depending on technical availability and geographic location.

The Company does not charge a fee solely for maintaining an internal balance, although payment providers may apply their own transaction fees in accordance with their terms.

8.2 Nature and Permitted Use of the Internal Balance

Any funds credited to your internal balance may be used exclusively for purchasing skins available on dota2leader.com.

For clarity, the internal balance:

  • does not represent electronic money (e-money) within the meaning of UK financial services legislation;
  • does not constitute a regulated stored-value product or deposit account;
  • does not accrue interest;
  • cannot be transferred, assigned, gifted, or otherwise moved to another user.

The balance is a technical ledger mechanism designed solely to facilitate transactions within the Platform environment. It has no function or usability outside the Platform.

8.3 Withdrawal of Available Funds

Users may request withdrawal of unused and unspent funds held in their internal balance, subject to applicable verification and security requirements.

A withdrawal request may be processed provided that:

  • any required identity or compliance checks have been completed, where applicable;
  • the requested amount meets or exceeds the minimum withdrawal threshold displayed at the time of the request;
  • the transaction passes applicable fraud prevention, security, and risk controls.

The Company reserves the right to request additional information or documentation where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or protect the integrity of the Platform.

Withdrawal requests may be declined or delayed where there is evidence of suspicious activity, attempted misuse of payment systems, or breach of these Terms.

8.4 Withdrawal Method and Processing Timeframes

Withdrawals will generally be returned to the original payment method used to fund the balance, where technically and legally possible. If this is not feasible, an alternative supported payment method may be offered.

Although many withdrawal requests are processed without delay, the time required for funds to reach your account depends on several factors, including:

  • the payment service provider involved;
  • banking procedures and settlement cycles;
  • weekends, public holidays, and processing cut-off times;
  • completion of compliance or verification reviews.

In certain cases, processing may take several business days. The Company is not responsible for delays attributable to external payment providers, financial institutions, or regulatory checks beyond its direct control.

9. PAYMENT TERMS AND PROCESSING

9.1 Processing Through Independent Payment Providers

All payments made on dota2leader.com are processed by regulated third-party payment service providers (“Payment Providers”). These entities are responsible for the secure authorisation, processing, and settlement of transactions in accordance with applicable financial regulations and recognised industry standards.

The Company does not operate as a bank, payment institution, electronic money issuer, or financial intermediary. We do not directly process card payments, store funds on behalf of users in a regulated capacity, or provide payment services within the meaning of UK financial services legislation.

Our role is limited to initiating payment requests through authorised Payment Providers and receiving confirmation of payment status.

9.2 Handling of Payment Data

The Company does not collect, store, or process full cardholder data. This includes complete card numbers, CVV/CVC security codes, or equivalent sensitive authentication credentials.

When you enter payment details during checkout, that information is transmitted directly to the relevant Payment Provider via secure, encrypted channels using industry-standard security protocols (such as SSL/TLS encryption).

The Company may receive limited transactional information from the Payment Provider, such as:

  • confirmation of successful or failed payment;
  • transaction reference numbers;
  • payment method type (e.g., card, wallet, etc.);
  • partial masked card details (where applicable).

This information is used strictly for accounting, customer support, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.

9.3 Provider-Specific Rules and Verification Measures

Payment Providers and issuing banks may apply their own operational rules and security requirements. These may include, without limitation:

  • identity or cardholder verification procedures;
  • transaction monitoring and fraud screening systems;
  • 3D Secure authentication or similar multi-factor verification measures;
  • temporary payment holds or additional review processes.

Such requirements are determined solely by the Payment Provider, card network, or issuing bank and are outside the Company’s direct control.

You are responsible for ensuring that your selected payment method:

  • is valid and in your lawful possession;
  • has sufficient funds or credit available;
  • complies with the rules of the relevant financial institution.

9.4 Payment Failures, Delays and External Processing Issues

The Company is not liable for payment delays, interruptions, or failed transactions caused by third parties, including but not limited to:

  • issuing banks;
  • acquiring banks;
  • Payment Providers;
  • card schemes (e.g., Visa or Mastercard);
  • intermediary financial institutions;
  • regulatory or compliance-related reviews.

If a transaction is declined or delayed, you should contact your bank or the relevant Payment Provider directly for clarification.

While we will make reasonable efforts to assist where possible, the Company cannot override, accelerate, or bypass decisions made by financial institutions or payment processors.

10. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND DIGITAL CONTENT RIGHTS

10.1 Classification of Skins as Digital Content

All skins available on dota2leader.com constitute digital content for the purposes of applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Delivery of this digital content takes place shortly after successful payment, subject to technical availability and completion of the Steam trade transfer process. The delivery process is initiated automatically once payment has been confirmed.

A skin is deemed delivered when:

  • a Steam trade offer containing the purchased item has been generated and sent to your linked Steam account; and
  • you have accepted the trade offer and the skin becomes visible in your Steam inventory.

At that point, the digital content is considered supplied and made available for use.

10.2 Immediate Supply and Waiver of Cancellation Rights

By proceeding with a purchase on dota2leader.com, you expressly request and consent to the immediate supply of digital content.

You acknowledge that, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day cancellation period does not apply once the supply of digital content has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that your right to cancel will be lost.

Your confirmation of purchase constitutes:

  • an express request for immediate delivery; and
  • acknowledgment that your right to cancel will cease once delivery begins.

This forms an essential condition of the contract between you and the Company.

10.3 Final Nature of Completed Transactions

Once delivery of a skin has commenced, purchases are generally non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.

However, this does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You may be entitled to a remedy if:

  • the digital content is defective at the time of supply;
  • the item is materially not as described;
  • delivery fails due to a technical error attributable to the Platform.

In such circumstances, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law.

Refunds will not be provided where issues arise due to:

  • changes made by the game publisher;
  • restrictions applied to your Steam account;
  • failure to accept a trade offer within the required timeframe;
  • user configuration errors.

10.4 Additional Refund Conditions

Further details regarding eligibility, timeframes, procedural requirements, and limitations are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Use.

Users are strongly encouraged to review the Refund Policy before completing a purchase to ensure full understanding of their rights and obligations.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes any non-excludable rights you may have under UK consumer protection legislation.

11. ACCEPTABLE USE AND RESTRICTED CONDUCT

11.1 Activities That Are Not Permitted

When using dota2leader.com, you agree that you will not engage in any activity that is unlawful, abusive, or inconsistent with the intended operation of the Platform.

In particular, you must not, whether directly or indirectly:

  • engage in fraudulent conduct of any kind, including payment fraud, misuse of payment instruments, unauthorised use of cards or wallets, artificial disputes, intentional chargebacks, or attempts to obtain refunds without valid legal grounds;
  • attempt to evade, bypass, disable, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with security mechanisms, verification procedures, compliance checks, fraud detection systems, or technical safeguards implemented by the Platform or its payment providers;
  • use automated systems, bots, scripts, scraping tools, data-harvesting mechanisms, or similar technologies to access the Platform, complete purchases, monitor pricing, or manipulate item availability;
  • create or operate multiple Accounts in order to gain an unfair advantage, circumvent limits, manipulate transactions, or interfere with normal Platform operations;
  • disrupt, overload, damage, or compromise the integrity, security, or performance of the Platform, including its servers, databases, APIs, trade systems, or delivery processes;
  • introduce malware, viruses, malicious code, or any harmful technological material;
  • infringe any applicable law or regulation, including financial crime legislation, sanctions rules, or consumer protection requirements;
  • violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights, contractual rights, privacy rights, or the terms and policies of Steam or other third-party services connected with the Platform.

11.2 Measures We May Take

If we reasonably believe that you have breached this section, we may take protective action. Depending on the severity and circumstances, this may include:

  • temporary restriction or suspension of your Account;
  • cancellation of pending or incomplete transactions;
  • blocking access to purchasing or withdrawal functionality;
  • delaying or reversing balance withdrawals where necessary to prevent fraud or financial loss;
  • permanent closure of the Account in cases of serious, repeated, or intentional misconduct.

Where legally permitted, such action may be taken without prior notice in order to protect the Platform, other users, or payment systems.

We may also share relevant information with payment providers, financial institutions, regulators, or law enforcement authorities where required by law or where fraud prevention measures make this necessary.

11.3 Statutory Consumer Protections

Nothing in this section is intended to remove or limit any mandatory rights available to you under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

However, enforcement action taken in response to misuse of the Platform will not be considered a breach of your consumer rights where such action is lawful and proportionate.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

12.1 Ownership of the Platform and Its Materials

All rights, title, and interest in and to dota2leader.com, including the Platform’s content and underlying technology, belong to the Company or its authorised licensors.

This includes, without limitation:

  • the overall website design, layout, visual presentation, and structural arrangement;
  • the software, codebase, technical infrastructure, and databases supporting the Platform;
  • all text, images, graphics, logos, trade names, branding elements, and visual assets;
  • user interfaces, system workflows, operational logic, and architectural frameworks.

These elements are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright law, trademark law, database rights, and other related protections under the laws of England and Wales and international conventions where applicable.

12.2 Licence to Access and Use the Platform

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your personal and non-commercial purposes.

This licence permits you to use the Platform only as intended and does not grant any right to exploit, commercialise, or otherwise benefit from the Platform’s intellectual property beyond normal consumer use.

12.3 Prohibited Use of Intellectual Property

Unless expressly authorised in writing by the Company, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or otherwise make available any part of the Platform or its content;
  • modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on any Platform materials;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform;
  • use Platform content, branding, or materials for commercial, promotional, or competitive purposes;
  • remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary markings.

Any unauthorised use of the Platform’s intellectual property may result in immediate suspension of access and may give rise to civil claims or other legal remedies available under applicable law.

12.4 Third-Party Rights

Certain names, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property displayed on the Platform may belong to third parties, including but not limited to game publishers and service providers.

All such rights remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or permission to use third-party intellectual property except to the limited extent necessary for lawful use of the Platform in accordance with its intended functionality.

13. WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

13.1 Provision of the Platform

The Platform and all associated services are made available on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

While the Company takes reasonable steps to maintain the reliability, security, and proper functioning of dota2leader.com, we do not guarantee that the Platform will always operate without interruption, delay, or technical error. From time to time, access may be affected by maintenance, updates, third-party system issues, network disruptions, or other technical factors.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Platform will be continuously available at all times;
  • it will be free from bugs, defects, or compatibility issues;
  • it will meet every individual expectation or specific requirement of any User.

To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, representations, and conditions not expressly set out in these Terms are excluded.

13.2 Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. However, subject to applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise as an indirect consequence of using the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • loss of profits, revenue, anticipated savings, or business opportunities;
  • loss or corruption of data;
  • reputational damage;
  • interruptions, delays, or technical failures caused by third-party providers (including Steam or payment providers);
  • events outside our reasonable control, including force majeure circumstances such as network outages, system failures, regulatory actions, or similar external events.

This limitation applies whether the claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised that such losses might occur.

13.3 Non-Excludable Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

In particular, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to digital content that is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill remain unaffected.

Where mandatory legal protections apply, they will take precedence over any conflicting limitation set out in these Terms.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

14.1 Our Right to Make Changes

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use from time to time.

Changes may be introduced for a variety of legitimate reasons, including but not limited to:

  • compliance with new or amended laws, regulations, or regulatory guidance;
  • implementation of new features, tools, or services on the Platform;
  • enhancement of security measures or fraud prevention processes;
  • clarification of existing provisions;
  • operational, technical, or commercial developments affecting the Platform.

Any revisions will apply from the effective date stated in the updated version of the Terms. Unless required by law, amendments will not apply retrospectively to transactions completed before the effective date.

14.2 How We Will Inform You

Where a proposed amendment significantly affects your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to bring the changes to your attention.

This may include:

  • publishing a notice on dota2leader.com;
  • sending a notification to the email address linked to your Account;
  • displaying a message within your Account upon login.

Editorial changes, formatting updates, or minor clarifications that do not materially alter your rights may be implemented without individual notification.

14.3 Continued Use as Acceptance

The updated Terms will take effect on the date specified in the revised document.

By continuing to access or use dota2leader.com after the revised Terms come into force, you confirm that you accept and agree to be bound by the updated version.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform. You may also request closure of your Account in accordance with the applicable termination provisions.

15. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms of Use, together with any disputes or claims (including non-contractual claims) arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer residing outside England and Wales, you will continue to benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement. Nothing in this section is intended to deprive you of protections afforded under applicable consumer legislation.

15.2 Informal Resolution Process

If you experience any issue relating to your Account, a transaction, or your use of dota2leader.com, we encourage you to contact our support team in the first instance at [email protected].

We are committed to addressing complaints fairly and promptly. Upon receiving your query, we will review the matter in good faith, communicate transparently, and make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue without the need for formal legal proceedings.

We believe that most disputes can be resolved through open communication and cooperative engagement.

15.3 Legal Proceedings and Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from:

  • bringing a claim before a court of competent jurisdiction;
  • seeking assistance from relevant consumer protection or alternative dispute resolution bodies;
  • relying on any non-excludable rights available under UK consumer protection legislation or other applicable laws.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved through informal means, it may be submitted to the courts of England and Wales.

However, if you are entitled under applicable consumer law to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, this right remains unaffected.
